CANNON

Cannons fire powerful, large caliber shells towards one target at a time. This makes them ideal against heavy and armored enemies, but less effective against massed infantry. Deals double damage to tanks.

Cannon Tips

·         The Cannon deals double damage to tanks.

·         The Cannon has a low firing speed, making it very ineffective against groups of enemy infantery.

Cannon Offensive Strategy

·         When you use Tanks it’s best to destroy all of the enemy cannons with gunboat Artillery or Barrage. A Tank can’t take much from a cannon.

Cannon Defensive Strategy

Cannons are a good defense against troops with high health

The Boom Mine stops the enemy in their tracks! Its high impact blast is focused in a small area.

Boom Mine Tips

• The working of a Boom Mine is equal to regular Mines but the damage they deal is much higher.
• A exploding Boom Mine does damage to all surrounding attacking troops.

Boom Mine Offensive Strategy

• Boom Mines explode when you launch Artillery or Barrage from your Gunboat on them. It’s best to clear the area before you send your Landing Crafts to the beach.

Boom Mine Defensive Strategy

• Don’t place your Boom Mines too close to each other. Otherwise attacking troops can trigger multiple Boom Mines at once.
• Position your Boom Mines at strategical positions. They are a real threat for attacking Tanks orScorchers.

Boom Cannon

The Boom Cannon fires devastating shots but takes a while to reload. Even the strongest armor is no match for the Boom!

The Boom Cannon is the 6th defense you unlock in Boom Beach. The Boom Cannon deals severe damage to tanks and pierces even the strongest armor. Therefore it’s a great defense against enemy attacks with Tanks and Heavies.

Boom Cannon Offensive Strategies

• Boom Cannons take a while to reload. They can easily be taken with large groups of Troops like theRifleman.
• Destroy the Boom Cannons with Artillery or Barrage so your Heavies can attack the other enemy defenses.

Boom Cannon Defensive Strategies

• Boom Cannons have a large range, protect as much of your island as possible so attacking Tanks orScorchers do not stand a chance without taking serious damage.
